Accessibility Statement

This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. That is the standard referenced by UK public sector accessibility regulations and is widely treated as the benchmark for reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.

• Text and background colours are tested to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text
• Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
• A skip link lets keyboard users bypass the navigation
• Headings follow a logical order, and pages use semantic landmarks
• Form fields have associated labels, and errors are described in text rather than by colour alone
• Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels
• Animation is disabled automatically for visitors who have asked their system for reduced motion
• The site reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320 pixel viewport width
• Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology

We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit. This statement reflects our own testing. If you find something that does not work for you, we would rather hear about it than not.
